Vivekananda Kendra Shimla Branch organized two days Swami Vivekananda Gaudhdhik Pratiyogia having theme - Know Your Self

First phase : Book base examination on - Life and  Teachings of Swami Vivekananda on 2nd sept.  62 students from various depart of HPU, Kotsera, Sanjoli and RKMV college.

Second phase : 4:30 hours Special orientation workshop having group discussion and presentation on subject like Indian culture, modernization, Power of youth and purpose of life. Songs, drama and Yogasana are the part of workshop. : 54 students from various Dept. of Himachal Pradesh University, Govt Degree COllege, Kotsera, Govt Degree College, Sanjauli and Rajkiya Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (RKMV) college.

विवेकानन्द केन्द्र, कन्याकुमारी, एक आध्यात्म प्रेरित स्वयंसेवी सेवा संगठन है,  जो महान देशभक्त संन्यासी स्वामी विवेकानन्द द्वारा निर्दिष्ट मनुष्य-निर्माण और राष्ट्र-पुनरुत्थान द्वारा भारतीय संस्कृति के नवोत्थान के लिए कार्य कर रहा है। युवा हमारे देश का भविष्य है, जो हमारे देश की महान सांस्कृतिक विरासत को आगे ले जाएंगे, इसी प्रेरणा के अंतर्गत विवेकानन्द केन्द्र, विद्यालयों, महाविद्यालयों एवं विश्वविद्यालय के विद्यार्थियों के लिए विभिन्न प्रकार के कार्यक्रम कर रहा है.।

इस वर्ष विवेकानन्द केन्द्र दो चरणों का कार्यक्रम - महाविद्यालयों और विश्वविद्यालय के विद्यार्थियों के लिए आयोजित कर रहा हैं ।

(2) युवा प्रेरणा कार्यशाला  : (विवेकानन्द केन्द्र, नाभा इस्टेट, शिमला - 4 ) : 3 सितंबर 2017

11th September, 1893, a Golden Day in the Indian History when “Swami Vivekananda” gave the historical speech in Chicago for “Universal Brotherhood”. This day is celebrated as “UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD DAY” all over the world. Vivekananda Kendra celebrates this day in all its branches. In Shimla, on this occasion Vivekananda Kendra is organizing “Arise! Awake!! Declamation Competition” for School Children of Shimla. The details as below.

1. “Arise! Awake!! Declamation Competition” will be in 2 groups.Group-1 : 8 to 10 Standard Group-2 : 11 & 12 Standard

2. From each Participant School, 1 + 1 (total 2) students can participate (ie one participant from one group only). There is no fee for participation. 

3. Student has to present his/her subject from respective group in 5 min in either Hindi or English without reading the paper.

Group 1 : कक्षा 8वीं, 9वीं और 10वीं	Group 2 : कक्षा 11वीं और 12वीं

5. Prize Distribution and Universal Brotherhood Day Program will be on 11^th September 2017, Monday afternoon from 3:30pm to 5pm at Gaity Theater, Shimla. 

6. In Each Group 1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd Prize will be given and each participant will be greeted with momento. 

7. The last date of Registration is 5^th September 2017.

विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी शाखा शिमला द्वारा 15 वर्ष से अधिक आयु के बहिन एवं भाइयो के लिए साप्ताहिक योग एवं प्राणायाम सत्र का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। इसमें विभिन्न प्रकार के शिथिलीकरण व्यायाम , सूर्यनमस्कार , आसान, प्राणायाम एवं बौद्धिक सत्र रहेंगे। आशा है इसके द्वारा आप अपने घर - मोहल्लों - कार्यालय में भी अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस का सही रूप से सञ्चालन भी कर सकेंगे और सभी को नित्य रूप से योगाभ्यास एवं अपनी भारतीय योग-मय जीवन पद्धति से अपने जीवन - के साथ परिवार - समाज - राष्ट्र - विश्व को भी सुदृढ़ बनानेमें योगदान देंगे ।

एम् आई रूम समरहिल (शिमला) में योग शिविर

आर्मी ट्रेनिंग कमांड शिमला तथा विवेकानंद केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी, शाखा शिमला द्वारा एम् आई रूम समरहिल (शिमला) में एक अनिवसीय  योग शिविर का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। यह शिविर 08-05-2017 से 14-05-2017 तक प्रातः 5.30 से 6.30 तक लगाया जा रहा है।इस शिविर में योग सम्बंधित निम्न विषयों पर विशेष बल दिया जा रहा है; 

1. शिथलिकरण विधी  (Relaxation Techinc) 
2. सूर्यनमस्कार
3. आसन
4. प्राणायाम
5. योग की अवधारणा
इस शिविर में लगभग 40 लोग भाग ले रहे हैं।

विवेकनन्द केन्द्र द्वारा आने वाले दिनों में दस दिवसीय निवासीय   योग शिविर का आयोजन कश्मीर में 15 जुलाई से 25 जुलाई 2017 तक केन्द्र के नागडण्डी आश्रम में (अच्छाबल गाँव , अनंतनाग)  आवासीय शिविर का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। इस शिविर की पूर्ण जानकारी तथा भाग लेने के लिए ऑनलाइन आवेदन vkendra.org पे जाए अथवा शिविर प्रभारी से मो.न. 94180-15995 पर संपर्क कर सकते है ।

Yoga Satra at Thadi Village & Subathu Cannt

Yoga Satra was organised at Subathu Cantt & Thadi Village of Solan Dist, Himachal Pradesh in morning 5:30 to 6:50am & evening 5 to 6pm respectively from 17th to 23rd April 2017. The seven days yoga satra was comprise of Relaxation Technique, SuryaNamaskar, basic Assans, Pranayam along with discussion on Yum i.e. Satya, Ahimsa, Astey, Brahmcharya and Aparigrah in todays context along with Niyam i.e. Shauch, Santosh, Tap, Swadhyay and Ishwar Pranidhan. Total participants in Subathu Cannt was 15 while in Thadi village total 18 persons gain the benefits.
