Vivekananda Kendra Shimla Branch organized two days Swami Vivekananda Gaudhdhik Pratiyogia having theme - Know Your Self

First phase : Book base examination on - Life and  Teachings of Swami Vivekananda on 2nd sept.  62 students from various depart of HPU, Kotsera, Sanjoli and RKMV college.

Second phase : 4:30 hours Special orientation workshop having group discussion and presentation on subject like Indian culture, modernization, Power of youth and purpose of life. Songs, drama and Yogasana are the part of workshop. : 54 students from various Dept. of Himachal Pradesh University, Govt Degree COllege, Kotsera, Govt Degree College, Sanjauli and Rajkiya Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (RKMV) college.

11th September, 1893, a Golden Day in the Indian History when “Swami Vivekananda” gave the historical speech in Chicago for “Universal Brotherhood”. This day is celebrated as “UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD DAY” all over the world. Vivekananda Kendra celebrates this day in all its branches. In Shimla, on this occasion Vivekananda Kendra is organizing “Arise! Awake!! Declamation Competition” for School Children of Shimla. The details as below.

1. “Arise! Awake!! Declamation Competition” will be in 2 groups.Group-1 : 8 to 10 Standard Group-2 : 11 & 12 Standard

2. From each Participant School, 1 + 1 (total 2) students can participate (ie one participant from one group only). There is no fee for participation. 

3. Student has to present his/her subject from respective group in 5 min in either Hindi or English without reading the paper.

Group 1 : कक्षा 8वीं, 9वीं और 10वीं	Group 2 : कक्षा 11वीं और 12वीं

4. “Arise! Awake!! Declamation Competition” will be organized on 11^th September 2017, Monday,from 9:30am to 2:30pm at Gaity Theater, shimla.

5. Prize Distribution and Universal Brotherhood Day Program will be on 11^th September 2017, Monday afternoon from 3:30pm to 5pm at Gaity Theater, Shimla. 

6. In Each Group 1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd Prize will be given and each participant will be greeted with momento. 

7. The last date of Registration is 5^th September 2017.

8. School can register students name by sending letter or email to Vivekananda Kendra Nabha, Shimla.

विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस

दिनांक १०-९-२०१६ को विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस में विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी शाखा शिमला एवं भाषा एवं संस्कृति विभाग हिमाचल प्रदेश द्वारा  गेइटी थिएटर शिमला में कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया जिनमे निम्न विषयो पर भाषण प्रतियोगिता की गयी।

•पर्यावरण के सन्दर्भ में स्वच्छता
•अनुशाषित जीवन
•संस्कृत हमारी मातृभाषा
•योग जीवन पध्धति
•त्याग और सेवा हमारे राष्ट्रीय आदर्श
•चरित्र निर्माण एवं राष्ट्रीय पुनारोथान

इस प्रतियोगितामे शिमला के २५ स्कुलो के ४५ छात्रोने जूनियर एवं सिनियर वर्गों में भाग लिया।  इस प्रतियोगता के निर्णायक मडल में प्रो. ओ. पी. सारस्वत, प्रो. वी. के. मिश्रा, प्रो. के. सी. शर्मा रहे।  कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि माननीय श्री अश्विनी कुमार रहे।  कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता रामकृष्ण मिशन शिमला के स्वामी निलकंठानंदजी महाराज ने की।  कार्यक्रम में भारी संख्या में छात्रो अवं प्रबुद्ध श्रोताओ ने भाग लिया।

Universal Brotherhood Day Celebration

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Shimla Branch has organised Inter-school Declamation competition on the occasion of Universal Brotherhood Day Celebration. The competition held on 13th of September at Sanatan Dharma,  school shimla and public function including price distribution ceremony was held on 14th September at Nabha Estate from 3 to 5 evening. 

Total 41 Students partake in the competition and about 200 people attended the programs. 

उठो ! जागो !! प्रतियोगिता : शिमला

विश्व बन्धुत्व दिवस के पावन अवसर पर हर वर्ष की भान्ति इस वर्ष भी दिनांक 14.09.2013 को सनातन धर्म, वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक पाठशाला, गंज बाज़ार, शिमला में उठो जागो प्रतियोगिता आयोजित की गई । प्रतियोगिता में विभिन्न स्कूलों से आए लगभग 28 छात्र/छात्राओं ने भाग लिया । प्रतियोगिता प्रमुख एवं सह-संयोजक श्री आशुतोष अग्रवाल तथा श्री सुभाष चैहान, सह-संयोजक, विवेकानन्द केन्द्र, शिमला शाखा स्थित नाभा द्वारा प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया । मंच का संचालक केन्द्र के सह-संयोजक श्री सुभाष चैहान द्वारा किया गया ।

कार्यक्रम दोपहर 12.00 बजे से प्रारम्भ किया गया तथा प्रतियोगिता को 4.00 बजे के आसपास अन्तिम रूप दिया गया । प्रतियोगिता को कनिष्ठ तथा वरिष्ठ दो गुटों में बांटा गया था । कनिष्ठ गुट में 8वीं, 9वीं तथा 10वीं कक्षा के छात्र/छात्राओं ने और वरिष्ठ गुट में 11वीं एवं 12वीं कक्षा के छात्र/छात्राओं ने भाग लिया । प्रतियोगिता में तीन निर्णायक मण्डल के सदस्यों का चयन किया गया जिन्होंने इस प्रतियोगिता में अपने परिणाम को अन्तिम रूप दिया । इस बीच प्रतियोगिता में आए छात्र/छात्राओं, अध्यापक/अध्यापिकाओं, अभिभावकों, विभिन्न समाचार-पत्र के पत्रकारों एवं विवेकानन्द केन्द्र, शिमला शाखा के कार्यकत्र्ताओं, को जल-पान की व्यवस्था केन्द्र की ओर से की गई थी, जिसके लिए बाहर से आए सभी लोगों ने कुल मिलाकर प्रतियोगिता की सराहना की । प्रतियोगिता समाप्त होने के पश्चात् परिणाम घोषित करना, अगले दिन के कार्यक्रम की सूचना  मंच पर सभी को दे दी गई ।

अगले दिन 15.09.2013 को दोपहर बाद 3.00 बजे मुख्य अतिथि द्वारा दीप प्रज्जवलित करके कार्यक्रम को आगे बढ़ाया गया । नाभा स्थित विवेकानन्द केन्द्र, शिमला शाखा में श्री नन्द लाल वर्मा, संयोजक की उपस्थिति में मुख्य अतिथि माननीय तेजराम शर्मा, सेवानिवृत्त पोस्ट मास्टर जनरल के कर-कमलों द्वारा सभी प्रतिभागियों को पुरस्कार एवं सर्टिफिकेट प्रदान किए गए । प्रथम आए छात्र/छात्राओं को टाॅफी, मोमेन्टो एवं सर्टिफिकेट प्रदान किए गए । द्वितीय पुरस्कार पाने वाले छात्र/छात्राओं का मोमेन्टो एवं सर्टिफिकेट भेंट किए गए । इसी प्रकार तृतीय स्थान पाने वाले छात्र/छात्राओं को भी पुरस्कृत/प्रमाण-पत्रों से नवाज़ा गया और साथ में सभी प्रतिभागियों को स्वामी विवेकानन्द जी की पुस्तक एवं प्रमाण-पत्र भेंट किए गए । कार्यक्रम में आए तीनों निर्णायक मण्डल के सदस्यों को भी मोमेन्टों के रूप में स्वामी विवेकानन्द जी की पुस्तकें मुख्य अतिथि द्वारा भेंट की गई ।

श्री सुभाष चैहान द्वारा कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित मुख्य अतिथि को मोमेन्टो के रूप में स्वामी विवेकानन्द जी की धार्मिक पुस्तक प्रदान की गई । मुख्य अतिथि द्वारा कार्यक्रम के दौरान सभागृह में उपस्थित सभी लोगों को संबोधित किया गया । नाभा निवासी श्रीमति पुनीता शर्मा जो की सेंट एडवर्ड स्कूल में अध्यापिका के पद पर कार्यरत है ने मंच से स्वामी विवेकानन्द जी की जीवनी तथा श्री आशुतोष अग्रवाल, सहसंयोजक ने केन्द्र की कार्यशैली/गतिविधियों पर प्रकाश डाला । सभागृह में लगभग 75 व्यक्तियों की उपस्थिति दर्ज की गई । कार्यक्रम की बागडोर केन्द्र के सभी कार्यकत्र्ताओं को अलग-अलग रूप में सौंपी गई थी जिन्होंने बखूबी अपनी जिम्मेदारियों को निभाया । प्रैस से आए पत्रकारों का भी बराबर सम्मान किया गया जिन्होंने अपने कत्र्तव्यों का पालन भी बखूबी निभाया । कार्यक्रम के अन्त में जल-पान की व्यवस्था भी की गई थी ।

6. In Each Group 1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd Prize will be given and each participant will be greeted with momento.

7. First Prize Winners’ School will get “Running Trophy” in each group.

8. The last date of Registration is 10^th September 2013.
